Obsidian Entertainment patches change Grounded overnight. This page is a calm checklist for the first session after an update.
What usually breaks
Expect MIX.R and spawn rules to shift first. Do not copy last week's path on day one.
Easy Anti-Cheat rebuilds can delay tools and overlays. Play a clean match before you change settings.
A safe first queue
Queue a low-risk map. Practice burrows and leave. The first night is for notes, not ego.
If movement or audio feels wrong, stop. Grounded patches often hide a second hotfix.
When to wait
Wait when servers are wet and notes are empty. Grounded is not going anywhere overnight.
Come back when one trusted source confirms smoothies still works the same way.
