What the overlay shows
Skill helper draws boxes, names, or distance through cover. Start with those three and leave extra filters off.
On raids, chaos dungeons, and engraving-heavy builds, clutter hides the player who is actually peeking you. A clean overlay beats a loud one.
Keep the screen clean
Short range keeps engravings readable. Max range lights the whole map and hides the close threat.
Color teammates if the mode has them. Spraying a partner wastes the whole Lost Ark kit.
Pair it with combat tools
ESP tells you someone is there. Cooldown view only helps after they enter your screen.
