A short Tarkov checklist. Use it before, during, and after a session on Norvinsk raids with AI scavs, PMCs, and extract pressure.
Before you queue
Confirm keybinds, audio, and a single goal. Escape from Tarkov feels worse when you invent the plan in the loading screen.
Pack for extracts, not for every possible fight. Extra slots are for the thing you came to take.
During the run
At the first contact, decide: take ammo types or leave. Mid-fight indecision is how kits disappear.
Keep audio on a timer. If the timer dies, the run is over even if the bag looks good.
After you extract
Unload, repair, and write one sentence. Tarkov notes beat memory after a long night.
Do not immediately requeue angry. Battlestate Games games reward the next calm loop, not the revenge queue.
